Election Hack

Election Hack is an unfinished top-down shooter, built to practice pixel animation, crunchy game design, enemy AI, and level generation. 

It's rough around the edges, but the gamefeel's there.
The level generator creates tiles on a grid with no enemies. To experience the combat, play the demo version, walk past the NPC, and move to the next room.
